Meribel Mottaret is a more modern purpose built development in the very heart of the three valleys. Chalets generally allow you to ski to and from the door and at 200 metres higher than Meribel itself Mottaret has seen a boom in interest. There are several bars and restaurants to choose from and a bus service connects with Meribel until late.
The magnificent Trois Vallees offers an unrivalled amount of skiing and boarding suitable for all levels. From the main Meribel lift station you can climb either side of the valley by gondola and find yourself either at Saulire admiring the view down to Courchevel, or at La Tougnete with its access to Val Thorens and Les Menuires.
Apres Ski
Meribel and Mottaret have buzzing night life with bars and clubs open until the early hours. Recommended: Jack's Bar, the El Poncho the Doron Pub and Dicks' T-Bar nightclub. Scotts is a lively restaurant and Le Plein Soleil is renowned for its live music and crazy theme nights.
